This '72 Road Runner occupied most of my spare time over a period of about 3 years. I swore to myself that all I was going to do was a quick paint job, hose off the motor and drive the hell out of it. Things never work the way I plan. Before I knew it I had the thing down to the unibody, front frame rails on a dollie, and was replacing or refinishing anything that could be unbolted. The result was a very nice (and rare) musclecar that represents Plymouths stoutest car for '72. One of 672 Road Runners with the optional 440 ci engine...the engine included in the "GTX Package." This one is of a very low percentage that came off the assembly line with a 4 speed...and the mandatory "Dana" rear end.
