Rotisserie

I know, I know, what a primadona... this guy has a rotisserie! Hey, when you can get the materials for under $200, you have access to a chop saw and a drill press, and a popular magazine practically drops the plans in your lap, what's a backyard enthusiast to do?

The biggest obstacle was getting the steel home from the supplier. The plans provided in Muscle Car Review had material requirements, cutting and drilling guidelines, along with tips on using it once it was built. The thought of being able to work on the bottom of the car while standing up was a wonderful thought indeed.

A great feature of this "home made" unit is the fact that I can totally disassemble it to the point that it can be hung on the wall. Also, half of it can be used as a giant "stand" to support the front half of a car with no front suspension (see the restoration photos of the '72 Road Runner).

I will admit, I have not put it to good use yet as I have not taken a car to the level that this piece of equipment will allow... that is until my current project!
